Filling In

1. Today I will be knocking off early from work.
2. Offer me food and I say why not?
3. What do you think of dancing in the rain and just being silly.
4. At some place that I don't know it's free Pastry Day til 1030 Friday!
5. People say that what we're all seeking is a thing that shouldn't be sought.
6. The image I cherish most is many, I don't want to re-count them here.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to sleeping early, tomorrow my plans include going to the shops and library and Sunday, I want to cook something yummy that doesn't involve foods that burn fat! I lead such an exciting life, don't you think?

You Are Absurdism

You just have to shake your head and laugh at the world. Everything is so crazy and absurd. You don't try to make sense of much, because you don't think there is much to make sense of. You kick back and try to enjoy the chaos. You'll only make yourself crazy if you try to find meaning in things.

Life is random, confusing, and one heck of a wild ride. Anything that makes sense is pure coincidence.

Oh well, some hit home and some didn't. What can I say? I'm a non-conformist (and brushing-off urban clothing) and I've long given up making sense of everything that happened. That's life and we all should enjoy it.

Perks

I’m not a heavy user of mobile phone now that I live Down Under. I just use it to keep in touch with friends and family and for emergency reason. I know, I must have been using it often enough but truth be known, I can last a day without looking at my mobile phone as long as I am with my one-and-a-half men. In fact, I only use a prepaid simcard. A 30-dollar credit lasts more than a month. How’s that for cost-cutting.

I’m not concerned with the model of my mobile phone either. I’m currently using a flip-top one and don’t even know the model. Though, I have moments of weakness that I wish to have an Iphone or any flashy mobile phone. But those moments don’t last long. I don’t need it.

And yet, when my boss ask me if I want an IPhone, I said yes after knowing that I don’t have to pay for it. Plus, the company is getting me a contract with our telco. It’s one of the perks of my employment. Should be read as one of things that will bind me with the company?

I signed the documents yesterday and I should have my phone early next week. I’m excited but not to the extent that I’m using sleep aids to go to sleep. Besides, I’m way past the stage and the age of getting hyped up for material things.

Friday 5 – Chit Chat

Like the host of this meme, I also don’t like small talks. It’s either I want to talk to you seriously or not at all. Sometimes, I dread small gatherings where people just stand and make small conversations. It’s just not for me. This meme is really a challenge and I hope that after answering this, I would somehow take off my small conversation skill (if I may call that) to a notch.

I assume that I am talking to a stranger here because if it’s the person I know or a close friend, I won’t be making small conversations. It would be straight to big bang. Lol.

1. “Come here often?”
Not enough or you wouldn’t have asked the question.

2. “What’s new?”
I’m here, that’s new.

3. “[insert your recent weather condition here] enough for ya?”
Sort of.

4. “How’s it hangin?” (This I like most)
Pretty high – it’s been cold. Hahaha. (Naughty me.)

5. “How ’bout them [insert local sports team here]?”
Oh, I just like watching them play but I don’t really know what the role of each player as long as they make tries. (I’m referring to NRL football here).

Really, that answer is not me when put on the spot. I might just nod or shake my head and smile like a dumbo. Nonetheless, I tried without beating myself up (which could have resulted to hair loss treatment).

What Borders between Yucky and Flashy?

In this case, none. Well, I suppose if you’re into Earth and Environment thingamajig, you would have more admiration for this creation.

Yvan Arpa's coprolite watch is a US$11,290 timepiece with a face made from fossil dinosaur turds and a band made from black cane-toad skin (normally poisonous, rendered inert through processing).

The thing is, coprolites just aren't that valuable. Dinosaurs left behind a lot of crap. This site sells coprolite at $8 per pound (it makes a wicked gift!).

Source
I just wonder if coprolites are for sale pound by pound, how many pounds did all the dinos left? Oh, I’ll make it simple. I just want to know if they are real.

For the band to be from cane toad – why didn’t anyone in Queensland think about this? We got heaps of cane toads that when you don’t watch when you open the door at night, they’ll jump in ahead of you.

Look what got me from reading so much stuff off the net. I better check out on the best vitamin supplements.
