In training?

Can you determine if this one is a miniature or real one? Well, this is a lighter that when Mcj saw it he said, it has Tatapilla's name all over it that he has to buy it. Without even testing if it was working or not - and it is not working.
Anyway, the Tatapilla owns toy guitars and a couple of other music instruments. Mcj owns a guitar which hasn't been used for a long time now. He likes music and has composed and record his own music. It seems that the Tatapilla is in training. It hasn't been discussed if when are we going to buy him a real guitar, currently though, you can save on denon 1200 cd player at guitar center. We still have a long way to decide about it.

We are back!

Indeed.. so back for almost over a fortnight now. That trip was exactly what we need to re-energise and see the family that we surely missed. I am so lucky at work that I was allowed to go on holidays for 20 days. I heard my colleague saying that in some companies, one is lucky to have two weeks. Anyway, it was so good to see my family back home (my 2nd home, that is) and catch up with some friends and rellies. My family has been keeping me up to date as to happenings up there but being there and see the situation and the action, it was a nice feeling. We talked a lot - my parents and my sisters and brother along with nephews and nieces. Among other things, we discuss about the future and the business and the question of business capital and such. There are plans and one of these days they will be put into action. So we are back into swing of things again and so far, haven't felt the grind yet. We have a lot of reserves with us.

Getting Ready

The day is getting near. It's a little over a month. On spare time, I've been checking nooks and corners where I have stored the loots that I bought sometime ago for pasalubong. Weekends is retail therapy time but this time, it's not for myself. Just getting ready. No Acid cigars this time. We're not close to ready yet. There are stuff that need doing first but we are getting there. We have arranged for a house minder and somebody to help my father-in-law. More shopping for food and what have you's for the entire time that we are away. Oh, we have a long weekend and it's a perfect time to do more shopping and organising. Hurrah for us!

Footy Night

.. on a Wednesday. It's Origin 1, that is. So while everyone is at the lounge room watching footy, I'm here pounding away on my keyboard and at the time same monitoring the re-indexing of tables, which is now finished, and performing data integrity check on one of our customers. No complain. It gives me time to finish the radko ornaments opportunity. The Tatapilla went to school today not wearing his uniform. His teacher told them to wear clothes in reference to the origin game. And guess what? He was wearing blue, the opponent state's colour. He was barracking for them too earlier but when I told him "you were born in QLD" he changed his shirt and started rooting for the maroons. Oh, it's going to be a long night for him.

Warmth

You Color Your Life With Intense Warmth
You are a down to earth, stable person. You can be relied on.
You enjoy the outdoors. There's something about being in nature that makes you feel really blissful.

While you are responsible, you aren't boring. You have a lot of flair and style.
You enjoy creative projects of all sorts. You're a very visual person.
That's what we need right now when we're outside. It has been chilly lately, what with all the rain. I'd say, I have enough of the rain. I feel like I never left the Philippines - I only have to choose dry or wet. Looking at the gardens through the windows are the closest I can commune with nature without getting wet these days. But really, I've had enough of waters on the ground. We would need handless spring plungers to unblock our drain in the garden. Our front yard has a funny design, it has a smallest drain in the area where water gathers the most. Oh well, life goes on whatever the weather is.

I'm back

I can't seem to find the time to do some blogging in the past few weeks. Nothing has changed in our routine, no particular reason at all. It could be my laziness really. I digress. On the work-front, it has been busy. Several projects, implementations, changes. Haven't been doing much at home - the gardens have been left on their own. Time it seems have been flying by. The Tatapilla started "big school" this year. It's all exciting for all of us. He's been to disco night on Saint Patty's day. The Easter bonnet parade was a success. He had participated in the long run at school. Plenty of ribbons, stamps, certificates have been brought home. Have celebrated my parents-in-law's 60th. It was a big event for the family. On the retail therapy side, it has been months for us. No trips to esp guitars at guitar center yet, but we might look at getting Mcj's guitar fixed. Life is exciting and interesting.

Back to Work

or should I say, reality. I took days off leading to the Tatapilla's 1st week at school. Life was a breeze. You know how it is when you're on holiday. But I will be back to work again tomorrow. Well, I will surely miss taking and picking him up from school. Not to mention the sleeping in every morning. I will have to go to sleep early at night starting tonight as I can't be late for work tomorrow. Our family is now well adjusted, I would say, with the new routine. Nothing much has changed (like shifting from iphone to Android Security), just minor changes to getting ready in the morning.

Feeling the Heat

I have always preferred warm climate having lived most of my life in a tropical country. I tend to do more stuff around the house when it is warm. Cold weather just makes me want to curl up in bed. Then comes the heat wave this year which has now been more than a week. It's so hard to do something especially some chores that require going out. We've been confined inside the house for most of the weekends. I dreaded going to the shop if it can be avoided - so I'll just content myself with checking slane and slane.
